Abstract :
19th century was a period when social structure turned into modern from traditional for Ottoman Empire. Most of its possesses altered with the new ones; not only the utilities and spatial, but also the values dating back its past. The classic Turkish houses and their interior parts which are the symbol for Ottoman Empire turned into a sample for their period by effecting this alteration and they became the source of inspiration for many painters and poets. Painter (oca Ali Rıza evaluated these houses not only with their architectural style but also with their interior parts and the rooms. The artist whose paintings are kind of documents nowadays because he described the secluded parts as a whole in a period when only the public buildings interior parts were described. In this work named Turkish Houses Turning Into A Symbol And Paintings of Hoca Ali Rıza , analyzing has be done over the alteration in the life style of 19th century using the paintings of (oca Ali Rıza.
