Abstract :
To calculate the complete fusion cross section over partial waves, as a function of theexcitation energy, the maximum value of angular momentum 𝑙max represents the upperlimit of that summation. An effective definition for that limit has been checked. Also acomparison with the fusion and critical limits, 𝑙fus and 𝑙cr respectively, has been displayed.The effects of the nuclear part, of the barrier height and the approximation technique havebeen checked to approach the best fit of the measured fusion excitation functions.
