  • Abstract
    The purpose of this study is to reveal the benefits of using authentic visual materials in teaching Russian as a foreing language, for the students from level A1 to level B2 according to European Common Framework of Reference. We will try to explain the studied topic with concrete examples from our professional experiences at Ankara University TOMER. Russian language has a grammatical structure that requires a long period of time to learn and use correctly. This study aims to prove that specialy prepared artificial texts are not enough alone in learning Russian language, whereas various authentic visual materials let students learn Russian language more consistently, allowing them to adopt a positive attitude towards the language they are studying.
