Abstract :
As defined by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), The one who is outside his/her country and cannot return owing to a well-founded fear of persecution because of race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or membership of a particular social group is considered a refugee. [1] According to UNHCR, an estimated 8 million persons across the world meet these criteria for a refugee status; and Asia hosts more than half of this population, with the majority of the refugees having Middle Eastern origins.
