Abstract
The prostate specific antigen (PSA) remains the best and most widely used tumor marker for prostate in clinical practice these days. [1],[2] It is a glycoprotein with a molecular weight of 33KD. PSA is commonly used in the diagnosis and follow-up of prostate disease especially prostatic cancer. [3],[4] Acid phosphatase (ACP) and prostatic acid phosphatase (ACP prost) have also been used in the past to detect prostatic disease.
