Abstract
To the Editor, Post operative pain is a common complaint in almost all surgical procedures. Procedures like thoracotomy and renal surgery have the most severe pain because of the respiratory movements, and may cause athelectasies and pneumonia where patients avoid deep inspiration and cough. Various methods such as, IV narcotics, intercostal nerve block, long acting analgesic during operation and freezing of these nerves, are used. We didn’t find any study regarding cryoanalgesia in urological surgeries with flank incision.
