Abstract :
Selim Sırrı Tarcan, who holds a significant place in Turkish sport history with his versatile personality, has been a neglected figure. This study aims to introduce the distinguished personality, Selim Sırrı Tarcan, who represented our country as an ambassador of sports in foreign countries, and his understanding and philosophy of sport to young generations. This study analyses his books and articles, and also his radio conferences conducted to mould public opinion on sports.
