Abstract :
As a result of Works of Grand National Assembly of Turkey, which was openedin Ankara on 23 April in 1920, forming a new government as one of 11representatives, the board of education was formed on 2 May in 1920. For thisdepartment, primarily Rıza Nur was selected . Because of its vital importance, theboard of education issue wasn’t ignored in troubled period of the country. However, the present situations were not enough to give a new acceleration to the education.This situation also went on at the time of Hamdullah Suphi, Mehmet Vehbi andİsmail Safa Who were selected just after Rıza Nur. But at the time of İsmail Safa,more radical works could be done, because his time was at the end of the nationalstruggle.At the time of four representatives, the works related with the problems ofteachers, primary education, secondary education and higher education wererealized. From the perspective of creating the solutions for the problems, the boardof education congress dated 1921 and I Eduaction Board Works and also the effectsof the results of these Works are important for the education system at that period .
