Abstract :
According to the general consequences of the First World War, it is seen that multi national empires and monarchies were collapsed and instead of them national states and republican regimes were established. Also the Ottoman State, as one of the defeated countries in the war, encountered a similar consequence. Against the Sevres Treaty that bring the fall of Ottoman State, the resistance which was organised and directed under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal, caused not only the establishment of a new Turkish State instead of Ottoman State but also signing a new peace treaty instead of Sevres Treaty. In this context, the two treaties, which are seperated initially in terms of both form and content and many other aspects, established on different bases.
