Abstract :
Anatolia is very rich geography which has received many pre-historic civilisations historically and biological. Excavation sites and antique materials which provide valuable information for archeologists and anthropologists around all sides of this geography. While various materials which have been taken out of the excavations have been significant to illuminate the past, morphological studies on skeleton samples which have been taken from the excavations have replied many concerned questions for anthropologists. Ancient DNA studies and accordingly molecular anthropology have occurred as a result of the development in the genetic technology and the coordinated studies with other sciences of anthropology. Many anthropological information can be gotten from aDNA as the relations between species from past to the day, their evolutionary developments, individuals and populations migratory routes. These samples which are very difficult to be concluded due to very little DNA in ancient samples, for example, their degradation at varying degrees by history and its conditions, and furthermore, the high contamination risk require careful and hard studies. When procedures that will be applied in the studies which have been concluded from the excavation sites to laboratory analyses in ancient DNA studies and precautions to be taken are successfully done, the concerned questions belonging to past will have been replied.
