Abstract :
Direct zakat payment to the asnaf has been widely discussed. It causes leakages and raise the issue of disobedient to the formal institution. The occurance of this tendency is said to be due to the existence of negative perception and dissatisfaction towards Jonnal institution especially over the case of zakat distribution. Hence, the truth of this perception has to be proven and thus this study analizes the effect of satisfaction on zakah compliant. The study also examines similarities and differences of zakah compliant between states in Malaysia. Primer data is used and be analyzed by using descriptive and logistic model. The study found that satisfaction on zakah distribution is positively correlated to the zakat compliant behaviour. The study also found that zakah compliant between states are varies, implying that states possess different capabilities and peifonnance in zakat managment. Prime implication of this study is that in order to raise zakah compliant towards Jonnal institution, effort for abolishing negative perception towards fonnal institution should be the prime agenda of Pusat Zakat
