Abstract :
Cell suspension cultures of Solanum mammosum were able to transform exogenously supplied resorcinol and hydroquinone into resorcinol-O-β-D-glucopyranoside and arbutin, respectively. The highet level of arbutin in biomass was formed within 3 days after inoculation with hydroquinone
