Abstract :
The findings of a research study aimed at the examination of compatibility between the conventional destructive and the non-destructive tests of concrete strength, including descriptive statistics for a sample of 206 non-destructive and 46 destructive strength tests of columns, beams, and slabs, are presented. A review of the related literature indicates that a similar study has not yet been performed in the Persian Gulf region. A correlation analysis also highlights the degree of linear association between the two test results for each structural component. Calibrated linear and non-linear regression models, including regressing destructive test strength data as a function of non-destructive test results, are also presented. Both models demonstrated a high predictive ability, and based on their inherent simplicity, linear models are recommended. A comparative analysis of destructive and non-destructive test results for columns, beams, and slabs points to the existence of a close compatibility and agreement between the two concrete strength test results
