  • Abstract
The aim of this study was to evaluate t he cephalometric changes of untreated skeletal Class 2 patients with different vertical growth patterns. First group contains 17 patients,11 girls and 6 boys, who has optimum vertical growth pattern (SN/GoGn 32±6˚) and 2nd group contains 17 patients, 9 girls and 8 boys, who has vertical growth pattern (SN/GoGn 38˚). No statistical significant changes were observed in neither intragroup nor intergroup evaluation. In longitudinal studies which evaluate the changes in craniofacial structures of treated skeletal Class 2 malocclusions, there may be no need to classify the groups according to vertical growth pattern.
