MALAY PRACTITIONER OF SANAD SAHIH AL-BUKHARI IN MALAYSIA

The community of sanad or al-musnid practitioners is generally known as a legal entity and is recognized for its activities in the field of hadith. This is based on the scope and terms that can be referenced in almost any work. Therefore, the activities of an al-musnid are still considered in the field of hadith scholars even though this status is not in line with al-muhaddith and is behind it. This paper aims to introduce Maulana Mansor bin Ismail as one of the leading scholars of the book Sahih al-Bukhari in the 21st century Malay scholar especially in Malaysia and its relevance to contemporary practice. The design of the study is qualitative of the type of case study. Whereas data collection instruments are based on interview methods and content analysis of field and library collection documents. Data analysis is historically and descriptive. The findings from the overall findings indicate that the person has authority as a practicing practitioner of the Sahih al- Bukhari book which is qualified either at the tertiary level which is the study of the teacher-joint character or at the level of al- ada that is the study of the student figure. Both of these processes are realized based on adherence to the rules of saladah saladahas through the adaptation of three methods of al-tahammul wal al-ada namely al-sama , ‘al-qira ah’ and ‘al- ijazah’ in the discipline of hadith. The application of these three methods is also known as talaqqi intention and the main relevance of the practice is to maintain the genealogy.
