THE STRUCTURAL PROPERTIES OF DAIRY CATTLE BARNS IN KAYSERİ

This research centers in the districts of province Kayseri dairy farms were performed in 24 dairy cattle housing. The animal buildings of 18’s cowsheds, 4’s free stalls and 2 have also been planned in the form of loose housing. According to research result, in the majority of the structure housing areas, in terms of ventilation and lighting was found to be inadequate. The air volume of housing was less than 20 m3 / animal in most of barns. The average thermal heat conductivity of dairy housing was found as between 11-4, 23 kcal / m² C. Milking production have been made in non-milking center and generally un healthy condition.
