THE EVALUATION OF DAIRY CATTLE HOUSING OF THE AHLAT AND ADİLCEVAZ IN BİTLİS

In the study, found in the districts of Bitlis province Adilcevaz- Ahlat and 23 dairy cattle business was conducted. In the study, the dimensional characteristics of dairy cattle housing, building areas, ventilation, lighting conditions and planning types of the barns were investigated. The suggestions were made for animal housing that seen planning failing by evaluating of region climatic condition and literatures. According to the survey results, all housing types were planned to conventional cowshed. An important part of the structures was determined planning errors. Briquettes in 61% of barns and, the Ahlat stones in 22 % of barns were used as bearing wall building material. Lighting level was sufficient in 56% of dairy cattle housing, while 22% of housing in isolation but in fair value was found.
