Abstract :
In this study, the some reproductive data of Akkaraman sheep raised a special farm in the Altinekin province of Konya were evaluated. For this purpose, giving birth time of ewe during the day, single birth and twin birth ratio, lamb sex and number of birth of sheep were examined. In this research, the effect of lamb sex, birth type and parturition number of ewe on distribu-tion of giving birth time of ewe during the day were investigated. Single and twin birth ratios in this farm in 2008 were found as 78.15% and 21.85%, respectively. Sex ratio was found to be 55.46% male and 44.54% female, respectively. Generally, 30.25% of lambs birth occurred most intense between the hours of 10:01 to 16:00, 27.73% between the hours of 04:01 to 10:00. The effect of birth time on the time of birth during the day was significant (P 0.05), lamb sex and parturition number of ewe not significant.
