An overview on Situation and Some Problems of Cotton Cultivation in the Antalya Region

Cotton, supply to the growing needs of the world s population both in terms of fiber and industry s share of business due to his wrist, is an important plant. According to the FAO’s data in 2011, the People s Republic of China in the first place ranking of world cotton production in after Uzbekistan and Brazil to Turkey the 7th place. The main cotton production in Turkey Aegean, Antalya, Çukurova and Southeastern Anatolia are our regions. Cotton farming and a few production problems encountered in this review have been examined in the Antalya region.
