The Effect on Yield and Quality of Some Characters of Organic and Nitrogen Fertilizers Applied at The Different Doses of Oregano (Origanum onites L.) Cultivated in Konya Ecological Conditions

This research has been conducted under Konya ecological conditions to determine the effect of the effect on yıeld and quality some characters of organic and nitrogen Fertilizers applied at the different doses of oregano (Origanum onites L.) in Medicinal Aromatic Plants laboratory and Medicinal and Aromatic plants Experimental Farm of Field Crops Department, Agriculture Faculty, Selcuk University. Experiment was designed and applied in randomized complete plot design with three replications in the year of 2007-2008. According to results of this research; plant height 25.7-51.9 cm, plants, drug herba yield 157.0-737.7 kg/da, volatile oil yield % 3.0-3.4 and major essential oil component (carvacrol) was varied between 46.6 and 65.2%. According to the results of this research; İzmir of oregano (Origanum onites L.) high and volatile oil yield for the drug in Konya and similar ecology and 2000 kg/da organic fertilizer on the nitrogen with 10 kg/da application is concluded with the raising will fit in.
