Abstract :
This research was conducted to determine effects of different sowing densities on seed yield some agricultural characteristics of Diyar-95 chickpea variety in 2014 growing season under Sırnak ecological conditions. Trial was set up ac-cording to Split Plots in Randomized Blocks design with three replications. Chickpea variety “Diyar-95” was subjected to four row spaces (15, 30, 45 and 60 cm) and three intra-row spaces (5, 10 and 15 cm) distances in the research. According to the results, seed yield showed statistically significance by the ef-fects of row spaces and intra-row spaces distances. As the mean of row spaces; the highest seed yield was obtained 149.47 kg da^-1 by the 10 cm distance. Mean of the intra-row spaces showed the highest seed yield as 187.56 kg da-1 on the 30 cm for row space. In the study, Diyar-95 variety showed the highest seed yield as 236.98 kg da^-1 value by 30 cm of row space and 10 cm of intra-row space sowing density. According to the results of annual research, a sowing density of 30 x 10 cm is optimum for Sırnak.
