A Study on The Development and The Current Situation of Ornamental Plants Sector in TR83 Region

Turkey has an important advantage in terms of natural resources and ecology, appropriate climate and geographical conditions, nearness to market, easy avail-ability employed qualified staff in ornamental plants sector. But every province or every region has not at the same rate development in ornamental plants sector. These reasons could be socio-cultural causes as well as to be climate and geo-graphical conditionals. This study aimed that the status of Middle Black sea zone was to study and ıts development to contribute in ornamental plants sector. The content of study consisted of TR83 region (Tokat-Çorum-Samsun- Amasya provinces) and management of these provinces in terms of ornamental plants sector and SWOT analysis about sector.
