Abstract :
The crosses by full diallel between two pea cultivars (Rondo and Ultrillo) and three pea lines (PS3055, PS4028 and PS3057) were made in 2012 growing sea-son. The F1 hybrids together with the parents were evaluated during 2013 in the Konya ecological conditions. In the research, plant height, flowering period, branches per plant, pods per plant, pod length, seeds per pod, grain yield per plant, hundred seed weight and seed size were measured, counted, weighted and analyzed in all parents and F1 hybrids. The general and specific combining abil-ity, heterosis and heterobeltiosis, broad and narrow sense heritability of parent and F1 hybrids were calculated by using the full diallel method. Non-additive gene effects, and low narrow sense heritability degrees were both estimated for the grain yield per plant for F1 hybrids. The values of heterosis and heterobelti-osis were found to be positive in grain yield per plant for both F1 hybrids. As a result suitable combinations and parents to be used in some agricultural charac-ters and heritability breeding studies in pea were determined.
