Investigation of Agronomic and Quality Characteristics of Buckwheat (Fagopy-rum Esculentum Moench) Cultıvated as Secondary Crop in Karaman Ecology Conditions

This research has been conducted under Karaman ecological conditions to de-termine the effect on yıeld and quality some characters of sowing date(5 July, 19 July, 4 August) and nitrogen (0. 5 and 10 kg da^-1) fertilizers applied at the different doses of buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum Moench) in Medicinal Aromatic Plants laboratory. Selcuk University Agriculture Faculty. Experiment was designed and applied in randomized complete plot design with three replications in the year of -2013. According to the results of this research; vegetation period 74.46-89.02 day, plant height 42.60-98.67 cm, drog herb yield 374.43-976.38 kg da^-1, seed yield 42.54-115.78 kg da^-1, routine yield of herb 0.733-2.862 %. According to study; It was concluded for herb production can be ap-plicated 10 kg da^-1 nitrogen fertizer and primer sowing date (5 July 2013) culti-vated buckwheat in Karaman and similar ecology.
