Determination of Yield and Quality Characteristics of Cumin (Cuminum cyminum L.) Cultivated Different Sowing Date in Conditions (Gölbaşı) Ankara

This research was conducted to determine the effects on yield and quality characteristics of different sowing dates (26.02.2013, 12.03.2013 and 30.03.2013) cultivated of cumin (Cuminum cyminum L.) Ankara/ Gölbaşı/Gölbek village ecological conditions during in 2013. Experiments were designed and applied in randomized complete plot design with three replications. In this research, ıt were used as seeds cumin thatvillage variety. In the research, the of of cumin plant height 17.50-21.40 cm, the number ofbranches per plant 12.66-14.33 pieces plant^-1, seed yield per plant 1.40-.95 g plant^-1, 1000 seeds weight 4.71-4.99 g, seed yield 58.50-89.58 kg da^-1, essential oil yield 2.65-2.84 % and cumin alde-hyde of the major composition essential oil cumin seed 14.37-20.19 % between were varied.
