Abstract :
Our investigations revealed that constitute the subject of the Melendiz stream Basin, located within the closed Salt Lake Basin. We specify the melendiz stream basin, with an area of 565.2 km². The Northwest corner of the Basin of the melendiz stream, narrow, extending toward Southeast direction has a similar shape to a triangle. According to the Köppen melendiz stream Basin steppe climate; Thorthwaite according to the formula; semiarid, non-or more first-degree mesothermal, water very few continental climate type and conditions near the secondary climate type. General outline Central Anatolia is dominated by terrestrial climate. Basin in General, summers are hot and dry, winters are cold and rainy. Winter precipitation is in the form of snow in General. In the field of spring precipitation 38%, 11%, summer 21%, and autumn 30% falls in winter months . The melendiz stream orographic features of differentiation of the formation of the climatic characteristics of the basin does not appear to be largely effective. The southern and eastern part of the basin leads to changes in climate elements in the elevations. Of elevation due to the increase in precipitation may result. Research area precipitation are insufficient because it prevents the development of the plants in the basin, is rather weak in terms of vegetation. Climate, soil and vegetation, such as looking at the upgrading of physical environmental factors and human centered under the influence. The reservoir due to take place in Central Anatolia terrestrial climate, natural vegetation is composed of the general character of the steppe. However, high places, Abera in irregular trees and marshlands. Creeks and Plains areas of orchards in bonds is very common. The settlements around open to tourism in recent years has given priority to afforestation work along the Ihlara Valley poplar and willows commonly a drop cloth. The climate of the basin of the Melendiz stream Properties in the study, the Research methods and the science of geography, climatic properties of field policies and taking into account the physical planning decisions to contribute concrete basin.
