  • Abstract
The main purpose of Human Resources is to highlight employees’ qualities and talents, and to develop them in conformity with the needs and advantages of organizations. This process also involves taking measures to meet workers’ expectations. Organizations need talent management practices to recruit, keep, and train employees of high potential so that they can yield maximum performance for the benefit of their businesses. Individual talents of the workers of an organization will lead it to success. Organizational talent is a result of employees’ individual talents and the coordination of these individual talents. The prominence in the sector of businesses with organizational talent depends on their employees with individual talents. The correct identification of the talent pool is therefore of paramount importance in talent management. Organizations offer compulsory training for those in the talent pool. The training involves various interviews, psychoanalytical tests, and central practices of assessment in order to determine candidates’ managerial potential and seek qualities of high-level work performance. The comparative study on the perception of talent management was conducted with the employees of three-, four-, and five-star hotels in Ankara. With the purpose-designed question form, it was intended to uncover employees’ perceptions of talent management and the link between career achievement and intentions to quit.
