Abstract :
Various studies are being carried out in order to ensure effective and effective implementation of educational policies for disadvantaged social groups or individuals in Turkey. In these studies, cooperation efforts are being developed between different actors in there levant problem areas. However, it is observed that the desired levels of institutional and administrative policy preferences for the education processes of children with autism and disabled cannot be reached. Despite that, it is stated that approximately 550 thousand individuals autism live in Turkey. The number of children with autism between 0-14 years is 140 thousand. Although, according to the Ministry of National Education data, only more than 2,000 children with autism are educated in state schools in Turkey. In this respect, it is very important to implement comprehensive institutional practices for children with autism at local and national levels. Considering the increasing rate of autism, Policies towards individuals with autism gain more importance. In fact, various policies at the national level have been adopted in the field of autism, and some of the reflections of these policies at the local level have not been attained. At this point, in accordance with the understanding of governance, partly due to the non-policy effect in this area, the understanding of the policies directed towards individuals with autism as a local administration unit of the Seljuk Municipality in Konya. For his purpose Seljuk Autism Education Foundation (SOBE) which was established with the aim of becoming a model for education and rehabilitation of individuals with autism, has made an important contribution at this point.; It also refers to the basic lack or problem. Turkey, volunteer efforts and accomplishments that give beter evaluate the work and should reconsider their policies in this area in support. The aim of this study is to draw attention to the extent that cooperation efforts between universities and municipalities have reached at the institutional level for individuals with autism in Turkey. At the same time, these organizations also offer a model of cooperation that has little precedent for Turkey.
