Heavy Metal Studies in Mollusks

Aquatic environments are being polluted by industrial production, distorted urbanization, inadequate environmental conscious and eradicating the natural areas, in our century. Determining the pollution factors in aquatic environments, the levels and effects of them constitutes the research areas of aquatic toxicology. These researches increase with varieties, numbers and the living materials’ species, day by day. In this review; it is aimed to gather the heavy metal researches performed in mollusks.
