Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to determine the habits of milk and milk products consumption among the students studying different departments in Kafkas University. While the ratio of milk consumption of the students was 33%, 67% of the students never drunk milk over the study period. The consumption ratios of yoghurt, cheese, butter, milk powder, and milk with fruit and yoghurt with fruit were 34%, 49%, 12%, %1, and 2%, respectively. The present study revealed that the majority of the students; i) did not have the habit of regularly drinking milk, ii) mostly consumed cheese and yoghurt instead, and iii) had a very limited knowledge of drinking milk and milk products.
