Abstract
l he chromosome complement of Bar bus grypus is found lo be 98, consisting of 22 metacentric. 64 submetacentric and !2 subteloeentric cliromosomes. It is probably a tetraploici species and more advanced than other specie- having the same chromosome number and belonging to the genus fiarhus.
