Abstract :
Numerical study is applied to the mercury-argon mixture by solving the B oi tzman t ra nsport eq ual i o n for d i fie re n l m i x I u re percen ta ge. The mixture parameters such as electron distribution function, D/p, excitation rate and ionization coefficient which are plotted as a function of E/N.( Values of the ratio of the electric field, E to the gas number density). The results show a good agreement with available experimental and theoretical data
