The effect of the crude alcoholic extract of the fenugreek seeds ,.given orally to albino male mice , on the physioiugieal and histological changes of the testes was studied .The extract was give daily in different concentrations { 0.25 , 1.25 , and 2.5 mg / mi } for 35 days The histology of the testes revealed cells of varying degrees of desquamation and degeneration in the epithelial culls of of the seminiferous tubules.
Vaeules were also noticed within the epithelial cel Is of both ;e:Tiiniferous tubules and epididymal tubos.
A significant decline was found in Somber of sperm produced No significant differences werescv*n inthe diameter or the seminiferous and epididymaf tuhulcs .
llie effect on (he epithelial height tif theepididymaltubes was also not significant.
It couid be concluded that the crude alcoholic fexlract of the fenugreek seeds may have a negative effect on the fertility of llie albino male mice.
