Abstract :
In this study, enrichment of waste magnesite ore, stocked in open pit magnesite mine was aimed. Therefore, dry type magnetic separation method and permroll type permanent magnet magnetic separation device was used. Required samples for this study have been obtained from a company of magnesite producer. XRD, Optical and chemical analyses were carried out in order to determination of properties and ore characterization. According to results of beneficiation studies; it is understood that waste magnesite ore which has average 12.60% SiO2 content can be enriched quality of average 1.54% SiO2 content by dry type magnetic separator devices, and it can be recycled into the economy.
