Abstract :
One of the most important requirements of todays competition conditions for businesses is the internet usage at work. As a rule, the internet that is allocated for work at the business is forbidden to be used for special purposes by the employee. However, this ban can be associated to certain principles by means of labour law-specific regulations such as labour contract, collective agreement and workplace instructions by the employer. In the case that the related principles about the use of the internet at the workplace for special purposes is violated, it will be possible to terminate the labour contract in accordance with the rules related to ordinary or extraordinary dismissal.
