Abstract :
Civil commotions which are called “The Arab Spring” have affected all Arab countries, more or less, especially Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Syria, and Yemen. Authoritarian regimes have come to the conclusion in Tunisia, Egypt and Libya; governments have been renewed in Jordan, Kuwait, and Yemen; Syria has been dragged to a civil war. Tunisia is only country which has completed her democratic transition successfully and has crowned her achievement with a new constitution. In this article, the constitutional history of Tunisia, the authoritarian period of government, the beginning of the revolutionary movements, the problems encountered in the transition period and the dynamics of the constitution making process have been examined.
