Abstract
Renal function is an indication of the state of the kidney and its role in renal physiology. Various conditions, diseases and drugs can affect the function of the kidneys. In clinical practice, plasma concentrations of the waste substances of creatinine and urea as well as electrolytes are used by physicians to determine renal function.
