Abstract
In this issue of SQUMJ, Jafferbhoy et al. have shared their regional experience about the impact of adding positron emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT) to conventional CT in the preoperative work-up and follow-up of a select group of patients with colorectal cancer.1 In their retrospective study, PET/CT had a major impact in the preoperative and follow-up groups, altering the management of 73% and 64% of cases, respectively.
