Abstract
Especially in the young ages, non-atherosclerotic coronary artery diseases must be considered in acute coronary syndromes (ACS). In the case presented here, morphine unmasked Kounis syndrome (1). A 33-year-old man was admitted to the internal medicine department with fever and fatigue. He was treated with intravenous (IV) methimazole and cefazolin for an upper respiratory tract infection.
