Three gastropod species were recorded for the first time from the northwest Arabian Gulf. These were Mitra mitra (Linnaeus, 1750), Natica vitellus (Linneus 1759), Monodunta vermiculata (Fisher, 1840). Diagnosis, figures and some · comments on the distribution were provided
