In August 2009, Professor SherifMourad, our colleague in the Editorial Board lias been appointed as the Vice Dean of 1he Faculty of Engineering for Graduate Studies and Research. He replaced Professor Adel Khalil,. who retired in July 2009. We frrstly, offer our sincere thanks and gratitude to Professor Khalil for his achievements during his Vice Deanship and for his continuous positive support to our Journal over the whole period of his term in office.
