Sumbangan Yusuf al-Qaradawi kepada Gerakan Dakwah di Malaysia

This article deals with the impact of Shaykh Yusuf al-Qaradawi s thought to da wah activists in Malaysia. Since his jifirst visit to Malaysia in 1974, al-Qaradawi has directly or indirectly influenced many da wah activists and many of them regard al-Qaradawi contemporary da wah ideas suitable to be applied in the Malaysian context. This article will explore closely the influences and impacts of Shaykh Yusuf al-Qaradawi s teachings and ideas on da wah movement in Malaysia mainly through his books. A special attention on his concept of wasatiyyah (moderate) in da wah activities and approaches are discussed in this paper: Before dealing with his da wah teachings and ideas, this paper highlights some important background of his life
