A Concept Analysis: Power in Nursing

Power is the one of the important concept for both staff and organizational development. Managers and staffs have responsibilities for development of powerful staff and organizations. Power concept is really important for health care organizations and nurses like other organizations. This article reviews the power concept and power sources, power sources of nurses, nursing and power relation, factors affect nurses’ use of power sources, nurses and nurse managers’ roles and responsibilities in development of power sources for nurses.
