Abstract
Abstract. An in vitro trial and three digestibility and nitrogen balancetrials were conducted on rams fed rations containing Kochia hay and/or rice straw and concentrate feed mixture. Digestion coefficients, nitrogenbalance and some serum parameters for sheep fed experimentalrations containing Kochia hay were determined. Results indicated thatthe use of Kochia hay (especially the ration including 50% Kochiahay with CFM) in sheep rations is useful and does not cause any abnormalcondition on digestive tract, liver and kidney functions and animalperformance as well.
