Analisis Item Maklumat Umum Laman Web Perpustakaan Akademik

This study analysed and identified the present items of the general informa tion of the academic libraries websites. The analysis aimed to assist in the implementation ofreconstructuring the content ofacademic libraries websites. This analysis identified the similarities and differences found in the contents of the academic libraries websites. The methodology used in the analysis involves cyber visit to seventeen local academic librarries websites and five libraries in the United States. As a result of the analysis, a set of general information item was identified and can serve as the basis and guidance in constructing the content for the general information of academic libraries websites.
