Synthesis of 3,5-Diaryl Azoline and [1,4] Diazepine Derivatives via Microwave Irradiation

An efficient microwave irradiation synthesis of 2-isoxazoline(4), 2-isothiazoline derivatives (5), 2-pyrazoline derivativesand pyrimido [4,5-b] [1,4] diazepine derivatives (10). The effect ofmicrowave irradiation was compared by classical method. The resultsshow that microwave irradiation shortens the reaction times whileaffording comparable yields. Some of the synthesized compoundswere tested for their biological activity
