Abstract :
The results of the photocatalytic degradation of Methylene Blue in aqueous solution indicated that the Ag-ZrP photocatalyst prepared by refluxing amorphous zirconium phosphate in silver nitrate method exhibited better photocatalytic performance than á-Zirconium Phosphate (α-ZrP). The best photodegradation efficiency was obtained in basic solution at pH 8 and saturation was attained from 70 and 100 min for Ag-Zrp and α-ZrP respectively. These results indicate that materials could be used as alternative in waste water treatment for the removal of dyes
