Accounting History Literature in Turkey: A Systematic Review of the Period 2005-2015

The purpose of this study is to review the local literature on accounting history field in Turkey between years 2005 and 2015 through a meta-analysis. In this respect, the multidisciplinaryapproach in research will be emphasized at first, then the relevant methodology in accountinghistory will be discussed. The study analyzes published journal articles, proceedings as well asgraduate theses in accounting history field for the subject period. Furthermore, the meta-analysis as a quantitative approach will be elaborated in order to familiarize the method with this area ofinterest.
