  • Abstract
    In many sectors, the relationship between personality characteristics and job stress were investigated. In these studies, especially the relationship between job stress with Type A personality has been proven. Given the unique challenges of the healthcare industry, medical institutions managers who deal with these challenges, it is believed that significantly affected by job stress. In this study, the relationship between job stress and personality traits, in terms of hospital administrators are examined. Research population, who served in Ankara, consists of 123 public health facility managers. In this research as a method of data collection, surveys were used. The results of the study, 49% of managers is shown that Type A personality and it was found that almost all experience stress. In this study, while it was found that type A personality with managers experienced considerable job stress, surprisingly, there is no relationship between the stress and socio-demographic characteristics
