Abstract :
In this research, the characteristics sought for the personnel who are expected to work in public relations units within the framework of the announcements published in the web sites of career net, yeniibiriş, secretcv and işbul have been evaluated. What kind of criteria that were emphasized in terms of duties and how an employee profile was searched for by task in the job positions defined in existing announcements have been analyzed by content analysis method. In these announcements, while there were job advertisements based on a total of sixteen different discourses for the personnel to be employed by the organizations in the units of the people s relations, it has been seen that the features of this personnel were defined in a total of seventeen different titles. According to the results obtained, communication skills, positive thinking and being able to be presentable are being searched for at high rates for public relations personel before the education. In addition to this, it was also expected that people with public relations should be equipped with many personal skills from being able to focus on solutions, and from being a smiling face to be hard-working and responsible. These results revealed that companies were looking for a lot of features in the selection of personnel to be employed in public relations units.
